Bang Shi Hyuk’s newly-formed group, Bulletproof Boy Scouts a.k.a BTS or Bangtan Boys, have chosen Big Bang as their role model.

The group released their first mini album ‘2COOL 4SKOOL’ on June 12th, and held their debut showcase at the Gangnam Ilchi Art Hall where they performed the title song “No More Dream” for the first time.

During the showcase, Bangtan Boys members revealed, “Big Bang is our role model. Jung Kook respects G-Dragon, and Jin respects T.O.P.” They added, “Big Bang is at the top as hip hop idols, so we learn a lot by watching them on stage. We want to be like them.”


Big Bang member Taeyang’s pet dog named, ‘Boss’, passed away on June 10th.

Taeyang posted on his Twitter, “2008.07.15-2013.06.10 [BOSS]”, informing his fans that his beloved dog has passed away. He added, “Goodbye, Boss… You brought me lots of fun and joy for the past five years…” and “I lost my baby today He will be always in my heart.”

The Big Bang member also thanked all the doctors at the Cheongdamdong clinic who took good care of Boss during its surgery for a herniated disc.


Big Bang’s G-Dragon successfully concluded his concert in Thailand as part of his ongoing world tour.

On June 7 and 8, G-Dragon continued his ‘G-Dragon 2013 World Tour: One of a Kind’ at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, electrifying a crowd of 20,000 with his powerful performance. He has been having his world tour for four months already and there are only three more cities left until the end.

G-Dragon begun the concert proceedings by appearing in a race car and performed “MichiGO’. He also performed songs like “Heartbreaker”, “One of a Kind”, and more for a total of 20 songs. In addition, fellow member Seungri appeared as a special guest and he sang two songs from his solo album as well as Big Bang’s “Bad Boy”.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon will head to Indonesia to hold back-to-back concerts at the Mata Elang International Stadium from June 15th and 16th.


World's popular group Big Bang is going to hold a 6 Dome Tour in Japan making them the first ever foreign artist to do so.

This big news was announced in G-Dragon's last "G-DRAGON 2013 WORLD TOUR: ONE OF A KIND IN JAPAN DOME SPECIAL" which was held in Nagoya on June 1 as a part of his Japan tour. All the members were also present at this concert to announce the news and greet their fans.

Big Bang's 6 Dome Tour is going to include the 6 biggest domes in Japan. They are going to kick off their tour at Seibu Dome on November 16-17. Secondly at Kyocera Dome in Osaka on November 29 to December 1. It will continue on December 7-8 at Yahoo Dome in Fukuoka. Then, they will go back in Nagoya on December 14-15. Next is at Tokyo Dome on December 19-21. They will greet 2014 at Sapporo Dome on January 1 and complete their 6 Dome Tour at Kyocera Dome once again on January 11-12. All of these schedules will cover a total of 15 concerts for 6 cities and expected to be attended by 720,000 fans.
