Mnet’s “M! Countdown” is back this week full of amazing performances!

The June 13th episode of the show was hosted by MBLAQ’s Thunder and Lee Joon. Tonight’s show features highly anticipated comeback performances from After School, Ivy, SISTAR, MBLAQ, Rainbow, Nell and Skarf, as well as debuts of Super Junior-M’s Henry, Bumkey, Boys Republic and Bangtan Boys.

Other performers tonight included Shinhwa, 2PM, EXO, VIXX, 100% and a special stage from labelmates Huh Gak and Apink’s Eunji.

And for the highlight of the show, Lee Hyori won on this week’s chart with her latest single, “Bad Girls”!

Showing their upgraded selves, MBLAQ is finally back with their highly-anticipated track “Smoky Girl” on this week’s episode of ‘M! Countdown’!

“Smoky Girl” is the title track off of their fifth mini album, ‘Sexy Beat’, marking a return after a year and a half. The album features the works of Primary, Zion T, Simon D, Maybee, and many talented artists.

Not only in the music production, but MBLAQ has also directly participated in the visuals as well. The comeback album showcases a sexy that goes beyond the sexy MBLAQ have shown before.

SISTAR transformed into divas, giving off their sexy, gorgeous charms. The perfect harmony of the group’s alluring performance and splendid stage setting captivated eyes of fans.

The best performance girl group, After School, is making a return with the highly-anticipated comeback stage on ‘M! Countdown’ for sixth maxi single title song, “First Love”!

After School has been known for their unique concept for their songs, such as playing the drums or tap dancing, and for their next single “First Love”, they will be showcasing their perfect pole dancing skills.

Produced by hitmaker Brave Brothers, “First Love” will give a lasting impression with high quality performance like watching a Las Vegas show. The group is said to have gone through months of practices to showcase yet another powerful show.

Female soloist Ivy is coming back to the local music scene to take back her former title as K-pop’s sexy queen with her new dance track, “I Dance”.

“I Dance” is the title song to her second mini-album ‘INTERVIEW PART2’. It is an experimental song, combined with tango, hip hop and electronic music, that tells a story about a woman who sings and dances to forget the pain of love.

The song has already been getting much attention as it was revealed to be written and composed by Park Jin Young, and is featuring Wonder Girls’ rapper Yubin. The sad lyric is beautifully harmonized with Ivy’s powerful vocals and Yubin’s unique rap style, adding more stylish mood to the song.

After over a year since releasing their addictive track “One More Day”, the sweet ladies of Chocolat are finally back with new single “Black Tinkerbell”!

On June 11th, Chocolat released the full music video for “Black Tinkerbell”, creating a buzz with their more mature looks and improved talents. The group really worked hard for this comeback, with ambition to show their potential and changes as a group.

Global sensation PSY and the Korea Tourism Organization(KTO) launched an interactive campaign that will encourage tourism in Korea. TV commercials were released on June 3rdthat highlight popular Korean food and tourist spots, such as Samgyeopsal, Banchan, Bulgeum, Cosmeroad, Olle-gil, and Dongdaemun.

Global sensation PSY and the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) launched an interactive campaign that will encourage tourism in Korea. TV commercials were released on June 3rd that highlight popular Korean food and tourist locations, such as Samgyeopsal, Banchan, Bulgeum, Cosmeroad, Olle-gil, and Dongdaemun.

“This Year, we are determined to introduce Korean tourist icons. They will highlight Korea’s spirit (Ki), entertainment (Heung), and heart (Jeong), which are key elements of Korean culture. I’m sure that they can be loved worldwide. KTO’s new ambassador PSY is a global super star. His songs ‘Gangnam Style’ and ‘Gentleman’ showed great global appeal, having about four hundred million views worldwide. We believe we can leverage PSY’s global popularity to effectively promote tourism in Korea; and hence, will use the TV commercials, starring PSY, to grab the attention of our global audience, Charm Lee, CEO of KTO, said at a morning press release on June 3rd.


In addition to the TV commercials, the campaign also launched ‘Wiki Korea through KTO’s online communication platform ‘buzz KOREA’ (www.ibuzzkorea.com). The website shows 27 items (Yasik, Susansijang, Bungeoppang, Pageon, Banchan, Samgyeopsal, Jeonju Bibimbap, Tteokbokki, Surasang, Jagalchisijang, Temple Stay, Olle-gil, Georieungwon, Dolhareubang, Minsokchon, Pocha, Bulgeum, Garosu-gil, Hongdaeap, Cheongdam-dong, BB cream, Jeontongsijang, Cosmeroad, Gangnam, Chak-shot, Dongdaemun) and borrowed elements from the renowned internet encyclopedia, Wikipedia. Consumers can upload questions and answers freely on the website about the 27 cultural icons of Korea. 



KTO will hold an online event on the website until July 12th. Users can submit their own opinions and questions about each item in different formats – video, text, or photo. Among the most active participants who upload many high quality contents, eight users will be given the 1st prize with the opportunity to attend Wiki Korea Tour, a tour of Korea with Korean celebrities that will last for six nights and seven days. The 2nd prize is a brand new Samsung SMART Camera (NX300) and the 3rd prize is a gift box. “We will differentiate our strategy by connecting TV commercials and online promotions together in order to effectively engage users to visit and learn more about Korea.” said Charm Lee. 








After the much successful mini album ‘New Challenge’, INFINITE is making one great step by holding its first ever world tour!

On June 10, INFINITE held a press conference to announce their upcoming ‘2013 INFINITE 1st World Tour One Great Step’, which was streamed live through Google+ Hangout and Youtube.

The group also revealed a special promotional video, featuring INFINITE members dressed in classy black suits, readying up for something big-- the world tour. In the clip, it is also announced that they will be touring different countries like Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, China, as well as cities in United States and Europe.

Core Contents Media’s artists T-ara, The SEEYA, 5Dolls and SPEED surprised the fans with a release of new single!

On June 10th, labelmates T-ara’s Soyeon, The SEEYA’s Soojin, 5Dolls’ Eunkyo and SPEED’s Taewoon and Sungmin released their collaborative single titled, “Painkiller”. The song is composed, written and arranged by the hitmaker Jo Young Soo and Doublekick.

Rock band Nell is finally making a comeback to the music industry with new album titled, ‘Escaping Gravity’ featuring the title song, “Ocean of Light”.

Released on June 10th, ‘Escaping Gravity’ contains a total of six tracks in various genres. The new album is the second part of ‘Trilogy of Gravity.’ The first part ‘Holding onto Gravity’ was released on last December with title song “White Night”.

“Ocean of Light” is groovy electronic rock song that tells a dream of finding ego and running for a positive future.

The June 7th episode of the show features the much-anticipated comeback performances from MBLAQ, Rainbow and Skarf as well as debut stages of Henry and Boys Republic.
