CL had her interview for her solo single, The Baddest Female, on June 3.
She was asked if what is her feeling about her latest song that didn't last No. 1 for very long. 
She said, " It was expected because not all woman do hip hop, and not all woman like hip hop itself. But I'm happy that I had the opportunity to express myself in a different style. I'm also thankful for those who appreciate my song."
CL's 'The Baddest Female', receives opposing opinions from the listeners. Some like her new style, some wish that it's 2NE1-like.

Jeremy Scott posted a photo on his instagram revealing him with 'The Baddest Female', CL. He said, "She may go by 2 letters but she is 1 of a kind #CL."

Jeremy Scott is a well-known American fashion designer who is a friend of 2NE1.

Meanwhile, CL just released her first solo single, “THE BADDEST FEMALE” on May 28.

CL, 'The Baddest Female', captured a lot of foreign media that made them write about the leader of 2NE1 and her latest MV. And one of them is the UK music news, Dazed & Confused.
Dazed & Confused said and I quote, “2NE1′s K-Pop queen CL continues to make every Western pop star look unimaginative and bored in the captivating video for her debut solo single ‘The Baddest Female’. The looks are in a whole other league: she wears Nasir Mazhar-branded bra and boxers, chills on the street under trainers hanging from a telephone cable, and winsomely licks a lollipop on a swing constructed from her own initials. The song is a bit all over the place, but the visuals more than make up for it.”
